Moreover, expecting a baby in unfamiliar surroundings and circumstances might be overwhelming, especially if the maternity care and general beliefs about pregnancy and birth are very different where you are coming from.
This 1 day birth preparation course in English focuses on helping you gain information and confidence to be able to navigate the Dutch maternity care system.

My name is Julia Szalai, I am birth doula, childbirth educator and pregnancy yoga teacher. In 2015 I moved to Amsterdam with my family. As a doula I am supporting international families since 2012.
I have completed the 150 hours doula training of the Hungarian Békés Doula Circle and have been continuously expanding my professional knowledge on this field. In my work I focus on providing evidence based information to my clients, so they are able to make their own decisions finding their safest options for their birth.
